Will Drive 4 Food began on a dare to myself. Would you drive 4700 miles in a 47 year old car at the age of 47 with your wife? If you’re the non-conformist, vintage car-loving gear head, as smitten with his wife as I am, that answer is unequivocal. Yes.

There is a connection that occurs when driving a vintage car – a pure throwback that allows you to think clearly and appreciate the amazing things in your life. Road trips reaffirm this.  My wife Monica is amazing and the love of my life. She is a Kansas girl who loves cars, food and wine and together we own 109 Cheese & Wine, a cheese and wine shop in Ridgefield, Connecticut as well as an automotive and wine consulting business.

I once had a staff of 12 and job that required me to be in an office most of the time.  I had a two-hour round-trip commute and looked forward to it every day. For me, driving is like a nap, wonderfully refreshing and always makes me smile. Put me in a vintage car and it only gets better every mile.

Garage and Cellar, our new venture is about a lifestyle. Being the non conformist has always been a talent of mine, just ask Monica.  I plan to enjoy this talent to the fullest extent possible. We will experience all that we can and share as many wonderful food, wine and drive experiences as possible.
